4-DYNAMICS FITNESS

 

DYNAMICS is the branch of mechanics involving the motion of bodies under the action of forces. "Dynamite" comes from the same root word.

 

 

4-Dynamics training incorporates four crucial dynamic components into every personal fitness plan I prepare.

 

 

Here are the four dynamics as they relate to fitness and exercise:

STRENGTH/RESISTANCE

 

Strength and resistance training is fundamental in a balanced training program. Our bodies are designed to lift things. We are lifting all day long. I will teach you how to do it correctly and in a way that improves your overall health, and the ability to do the daily activities that make up your life!

CORE

 

​The core is the group of torso muscles that together stabilize the spine. They control posture and stabilize the spine during the daily movements of our lives.

 

Poor posture, and the modern habit of sitting for a majority of our day, will result in weakness and inflexibility of these muscles. Training your core will reduce back pain, improve posture and breathing, and even improve digestion.

FUNCTION

 

​Function is the ability to move the joints in the anatomical way they are meant to be used. These basic movement patterns become lost in our sedentary lifestyle and eventually we can lose the ability to even sit in a chair without assistance!  

 

 

 

FLEXIBILITY

 

Flexibility literally is bending without breaking! Having a more flexible body will decrease your risk of injuries like pulled muscles or torn ligaments. Good flexibility also results in improved form when you're working out.
